After being put into use, Zhuji's more than 80,000 traditional hosiery machines are expected to be fully intelligent.

According to our knowledge, there are more than 80,000 hosiery machines in Zhuji, but there are less than 200 integrated knitting, sewing and turning machines. Most hosiery companies use traditional hosiery machines. The Zhuji Municipal Science and Technology Bureau learned in the "Three Services" activity that one integrated knitting, sewing and turning machine costs hundreds of thousands of yuan. For small and medium sock companies with "single power", the pressure to update equipment is huge; With high labor costs, shortage of employees, and low production efficiency, it is imperative to upgrade the traditional equipment of hosiery enterprises. This has become the "heart disease" of many business owners.

How to spend less investment to complete the iterative upgrade of equipment so that the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises can keep up with the pace of the market? The "three services" personnel of the Zhuji Science and Technology Bureau brought the problem to the Datang Hosiery Innovation Service Complex. Zhejiang Textile Hosiery Research Institute takes the lead in carrying out technical research.

Zhejiang Textile Hosiery Research Institute issued a "recruitment order" through the University Alliance of Collaborative Innovation Center of Hosiery Industry, confirming that professional counterpart universities such as Xi'an Polytechnic University will jointly participate in project research; at the same time, it organizes industry hosiery machine companies to carry out demonstrations and officially launches hosiery machine automation transformation Research and development. After the preliminary demonstration, the research team determined the project plan of "flexible and intelligent traditional hosiery machine production line transformation".

The person in charge of Zhuji Science and Technology Bureau told reporters that according to current preliminary calculations, a company with 100 traditional hosiery knitting machines costs about 100,000 yuan for the total transformation, which originally required at least 50 employees; after the transformation, only one set of intelligent The production management system connects 20 assembly lines in series, and the number of operators can be reduced to 20, which will bring benefits to small and medium-sized enterprises.
